Resetting your password using MyPass

You are welcome to use our MyPass system in order to update the password for your account.  You will need to launch the following link: MyPass.  Staff and Faculty will use the MyOttawa username and the current password to log in. The MyOttawa username for students is your Ottawa University ID number.  If you are unaware of what your current password is, you may use our password look-up tool.

Once logged into MyPass, you may be asked to create five security questions.  After setting up those questions, there will be a link that says "Change My Password."  If you have already set up your security questions, you'll be required to answer two to verify your account before updating your password.

Once you have made it through this process and updated your password, please allow up to an hour for all of your Ottawa University accounts to update.

If you are a staff/faculty member that is on campus and connected to the OUAdmin network, you can do ctrl+alt+delete then click Change My Password. If you don't remember your current password, use the link above for the password lookup tool.

*If at any point you become locked out of MyPass, contact OUHelp and we can reset it.*
