-Go to https://oupass.ottawa.edu:9251/ This link can also be found in the OU Help tab of MyOttawa
-Log in with your Ottawa email address and password
-After logging in, you will see a blue Click here button at the top of the screen. Click that button to begin registration
-Enter 3 security questions

TIP: Have your alternate email signed in and open before you click send code. You have 30 seconds to enter the code into OUPass.

-Next, enter an alternate email address. Click Send code, and enter the code sent to your email in the verification box.
-Now you will create a new Microsoft Authenticator account on your phone for ADSelfService Plus. Open Microsoft Authenticator on your phone and click the plus sign in the upper right corner
-Select Other (Google, Facebook, etc.)
-Last, scan the QR code on the computer screen. Microsoft Authenticator will now have a new ADSelfServicePlus account with your email address listed. It will have 6 numbers and a timer counting down. Enter those 6 numbers into the box for step 4 and click next.
-You are now registered to use the password change system. From the screen you are on, you can click the Change Password tab at the top left
You must meet all the minimum password conditions listed to make an acceptable password. You also cannot include your first or last name in the password.
